The old owners were absolutely AMAZING! However, if you are thinking about getting married here with the new owners, I would think twice. The ownership changed right in the middle of me planning my wedding and I am here to say I wish it hadn't. During our reception as soon as we sat down and before we could even touch our food, she came up to us with an absolute horrible attitude and let us know that our guests were going to the car to make drinks (which is understandably wrong) however, she could have had better timing and said it a little nicer. After all, it is our special day and she didn't even seem to care. So of course we didn't want anyone to get in trouble so we took care of the situation. Now, it being almost two months later we received a hand written letter in the mail that we got money deducted for "alcohol in vehicles". This is a horrible way to communicate that we were getting fined when we were under the impression all we needed to do was take care of the situation at the wedding, which we did, and that would be that. It is a shame that these new owners are making a bad name for the venue because the old owners were simply amazing. They really need to learn how to communicate. This was not our only mishap with them regarding money and deposits. I had to ask my wonderful planner to help me with them because they were completely wrong about money that was "owed" the day of our rehearsal. The emails the new owner had written me were very short and rude and she was explaining I owed money for the wrong items. Now looking back at all of this, it makes me so sad that they took over..they are making themselves look very money hungry and it's very sad since this was such a gorgeous venue and the previous owners did such a fantastic job. Read moreI absolutely loved my experience with The Ranch at San Patricio. For those looking for a wonderful venue near the Corpus Christi area, this is the place to book! I had to postpone my wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they worked with me every step of the way. Really meant the world to me that they were understanding and helpful during that time. For the property, they have two different venues to choose from depending on guest size - both are beautiful each with a chapel for the ceremony if needed. Depending on the options you choose with them, you could have decor, flowers and a day of coordinator help with your event. The Ranch has a stockpile of decor options for centerpieces, signs, antique tables, yard games, etc. For the flowers, I sent them pictures of version of bouquets/arrangement ideas that I had and they turned out perfectly. Plus, they did all the decorating with the flowers throughout the venue and at the chapel the day of. They also allow you to bring items that you would like to use for decor which is a huge plus! They are very responsive and informative about any questions (I had wayyyy to many). Jessie was my coordinator and was perfect! She handled all the timeline and whisked me away whenever needed. I highly recommend the day of coordinator service. It took away all my stress the day of as a bride. The Main House is a wonderful addition for those to stay at during the wedding weekend. I used it the night before the wedding for my bridal party to stay at and then the night of for family to stay at. They also allow you to have the rehearsal dinner at the property if needed! They offer events Mondays through Saturdays welcoming all budgets and ideas. They allow you to bring your family or friends out to tour The Ranch and allow you time to look through the housing and venues to talk among yourselves and then answer any questions you might have. They give you a wealth of information that you can take home with you to read over and refer back to. They are quick in responding to emails and returning your call. They understand the do-it-yourselfer and allow you to decorate and plan yourself and they also understand the stress that's involved for some and can jump in to help you with your event. Their floral studio is amazing and they love bringing their clients' ideas to reality! They have a hard-working staff that's dedicated to upkeeping the property for all to enjoy! Their staff strives to keep visitors safe and enjoying events they are attending.
