A true hidden gem! This is the best value for golf in the south metro. The back 9 is spectacular winding along sand creek. The greens roll true, the clubhouse is large with a full bar, and the course is very well maintained. The grounds crew did a fantastic job restoring the greens from last summers dry spell. One draw back would be some bunkers are low with sand, and you are hitting off hard compacted dirt, this needs to be addressed. My only complaint would be the staff in the pro shop. The gentleman that checked me in, I believe his name is Dirk, was quite rude and very short with everyone in our group. Not sure if this is the norm, but I have seen other reviews regarding the same employee. This employee takes away from the fantastic golf course and is a bad first impression to start the round.

I'm excited to play the greens that they renovated this fall. The fairways and non-renovated greens were perfect at the end of the year. Should be playing like a course on a "10 best courses you can play in Minnesota list" but it won't be on any lists like that because the greens fees are too low to be considered. Top 5 in best value list easily and they allow you to play without taking a cart and you pay a lower rate which not the case at some other courses nearby. They won't let you play without a shirt, but if they did it would be high on a lot of lists of "Courses That Don't Require Shirts", it's that good of a course.

A great day out with the boys! We were lucky with perfect weather. Hard to book in two groups on the websites (so this needed to be booked under two names - which is silly) A round with cart is $75 USD Great course, it's pretty challenging with plenty of bunkers and water hazards. Groups were posted 9mins apart - and you get prompted regularly to stay on timings

I'm here to rate the bar, the food, service & event room only. I cannot rate the golf course or anything else that has to do with golfing... That said...

I've been here many times throughout the years for High School Fundraisers, Receptions & the Cowboy/Cowgirl Luncheon. If I could give Sand Creek 3 1/2 Stars I would. The place is a little outdated including the decor in the event room, which is looking a bit worn. However, it's quite clean and the service at the bar is good yet can be sketchy at the tables, especially if they're busy. Which is why this disappoints me so much. Such aforementioned events stated above I would think that after all these years in business that they would be better prepared with prompt table service. Including reorders and clearing tables. As for the food, nothing impressive for your casual fare. It's mostly bulk purchased pre-frozen chicken breasts, burgers and other deep fried items that you can buy at your local grocery store in the freezer department. This also includes the appetizers I've had at the HS Fundraisers. I mean, the food is prepared well, but there's nothing spectacular about any of it. Prices for food and drinks are pretty fair, just remember where it's...

Beautiful room, but - we had 2 charity events there and they agreed to the pricing we needed. At the first event, they served stir fry. It was good, presentation was kind of bland and when we asked for soy sauce, they poured it in a square metal bowl with a ladle and we had to pass that around 4 tables. At the next event, they came in at 9:30pm to start cleaning up. They turned up the music, put beers on the bar, tore down tables and started vacuuming. The problem was that our event went until 10pm and we still had guests there who felt like they were being chased out. We had emailed the event manager to complain who told us we couldn't have the room for free anymore and needed to charge us $300. A few weeks later, we offered to pay $100 and 2 emails and a voice message later, the only thing we heard from the event manager was that she was working on it. We cancelled our next one...
