This park has incredible views and the hike trails make you feel so safe relaxing and comfortable to hike on, that you feel lost in the peace& the smells of the nature at Eagle Fern. They are unmatched compared with other parks. and i promise, you will not want to leave… and when you do. . . You know without a shadow of doubt, that it changes your perspective of the outdoors, and that you wont be able to not go back…You will most assuredly return. If love of nature coupled with silence & tranquility of solitude out in nature is your hope and goal… well then …Eagle Fern is by far is the place for all of you adults, teenagers, and or your children, to goto. The hikes here extremely pleasant and easy to traverse so that should you desire a walk by yourself, or with your better half, and or the children …make no mistake. That any drive you take from just about anywhere, Eagle Fern is absolutely worth that drive. Go visit this park folks, because the nature of the woods and the creek won’t let you down, nor will it make you hurry to your get back home. Point of fact… you & anyone who goes with you… will not want to leave. This is the best park you’ll ever visit. It Is more than adequate on size for one ir multiple people, yet not too big to be an issue ir major project to have to plan out or budget your time. This park will make you get lost in its beauty and peacefulness, in such a good way. Go visit...

We had a nice time hiking here. The shade and old growth trees were beautiful. Day use fee was $9 and the machine past the entrance takes credit/debit and cash. The main trail is accessible and well marked. My only gripe is that if you venture off (like we did) to do a longer loop, there are no trail markers at intersections leaving you to hope you're going the right way. Take a picture of the map before you head out and follow the creek if needed to get back to the main trail and suspension bridge. The longer loops take you up several switchbacks through an old growth forest and then back down the other side and near the creek. There are stunning views throughout. Near the parking area by the creek are several picnic tables. We enjoyed lunch at a table next to the creek. There are also 4 covered picnic areas for reservation at varying prices. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We saw 2 beach volleyball areas, horseshoes, and a baseball field, along with a play structure. The signage noted a fee for camping but another sign said, "no overnight camping." We saw several fire pits near picnic tables that looked like potential campsites. Definitely check the website for more info if needed. Overall, it was a beautiful place and we'll probably be back for a picnic and...

Literally one if my favorite places in the pnw for a day hangout. The upper trail is really beautiful, NOT accessible for everyone though. 😞 The lower trail is accessible and has several spots along to go down to the water, it is very pretty! I've seen lots of squirrels and some snakes here, loads of mushrooms in the fall to take photos of! It's a really good place to chill, and not far from the city! Parking is 8 dollars, and I've never really had trouble finding a spot. I visit several times a year. It's very lovely. Lots of day use area. Picnic tables. Bathrooms on site, in different areas. Places to rent for large gatherings. Small day camp areas for just a few folks. Bbq grills and tables on site. Covered areas. There's even a big fire pit. Baseball field, volleyball nets, horseshoe set up. Its a really good place. Totally worth the $8...
