Hideaway Lake — Attraction in Sandy

Pretty secluded and off grid camping spot for being only about 2 in a half hours or so away from Salem. The campground had 10 spots, most of them fairly private from other camp sites. There's lots of other lakes to go around for the day too and the hike to Shellrock Lake wasn't bad at all. The water was super clear and pretty. The camp fire has a metal rake you can put over it to use for cooking which was awesome. There was a vault toilet which was clean for camping so far out. Definitely visiting this...

The hiking trail has some logs you have to hop over, other than that it is an easy hike. The water is perfect temperature and the scenery is beautiful. I definitely recommend...
