Overall Avocado Lake is beautiful, known for it's fishing, a place to swim. However they need to hire County Lifeguards for their visitors. A lot of visitors who attend here are culturally not the best swimmers hence there have been drownings, deaths and why they keep it closed. It's very sad that Fresno County does this. They can simply put a Lifeguard Headquarters here through Fresno County Fire Department and charge a larger admission to have a Lifeguard Service. Everywhere else in California Lakes does this but here. It might be through Fresno County Sheriff's Department....
