Valley Oak Winery — Attraction in Sanger

My favorite local winery. Mike is friendly, knowledgeable, and overall a great wine maker and host. We have been members for years and have never been disappointed. Every time we take friends here they are pleasantly surprised this gem is in Fresno, even the napa snobs. I can't recommend them enough. My favorites are the Barbara and the petite sirah, looking forward to the upcoming vintages....

Found this place on the list of points of interest on the Fresno County Fruit Trail. The owner was so friendly and informative with regards to what wines we were tasting and the area was calming and serene. I'd love to try an evening experience under the stars. They just opened and this was their first time as part of the wine tasting tour. Even though they have a good layout for a winery. There is a patio for sitting down and enjoying.
