First impression was not good. I drove up and saw what looked to be a fairly ratty softball field. So I walked on the outside of the field and there's really nice views. The only negative, if you want to call it that, is that it is right next to Soledad Canyon Road and the 14 so lots of traffic. Lots of noise . But I kept going and went down to this area that it's about the size of a football field and saw the entrance to a neighborhood and I thought oh okay. This is a neighborhood park. It's super small with a ball field. Boy was I selling this place short. After I came back up the hill. I kept walking and I came upon the playground area for the kids. One of two actually and it's covered which is really nice in the summer. I don't have any kids but if you do this place is super nice. Then, I saw the community center. It wasn't open but it is big enough to where it looks like it might be nice inside. Then I kept walking uphill, twisting and turning and there are these exercise stations that look like they've been there for a while but they're there and you keep walking and walking and the view gets better and better and it just goes on and on and there was another neighborhood entrance. Then you keep walking and the views get better still and another playground area. And another whole mini park at the top. One that is directly across from yet another neighborhood. Lucky them. So I totally misinterpreted the park at the beginning. I think it's wonderful. It's noisy due to the car traffic nearby, but there weren't many people there on a relatively chilly December day and the views of the mountains are just spectacular. I highly...

This is a very nice family park. There are two moderately spacious grass fields and a winding (slightly uphill) jogging path. But there are also some slightly more secluded grass areas located along the path. Additionally, kids will love the two medium sized playgrounds (jungle gyms and swings; one is at the bottom of the jogging path, and the other is at the top).

It has some amenities, including shaded benches and tables, water fountains, a vending machine, and bathrooms.

I wish the park's fields were a bit larger in the main area and had a dog park as well, but as it is, the Canyon Country Park is a nice little reprieve on this side of the city that is very clean, safe, and...

You can't say enough good things about this park! My kids were thoroughly amazing and had so much fun here! I can't believe we have been in Canyon Country for nine years and never found this park. The new equipment and educational gadgets exceeded All my expectations. They have musical instruments here, Novel swings, I even had fun with my daughters. Swinging on the mommy and me swing. It's probably looked more like a roller coaster for the kid. And one of the best things is probably the mini zip line. Everything here is just super amazing. And the location is so beautiful. Today was 55 outside and we have hats and jackets on but That did not get into the way of...

Clean, fun, and well maintained park with a lot of fun musical instruments, slides, and multi-level climbing structures and swings. Also bathrooms, drinking fountain, and a baseball field. Pet friendly areas, a path, and views of the hills. Nice picnic covered area if you reserve it or get there to claim it. Walk around the park and see if you can spot the rabbits. Love to visit with the kids and dog when in town from Oregon.

Beautiful park. I loved that it's completely shaded. It's a very interactive park for parents and children. My kids didn't want to leave this park and we were here for a few hours. It's extremely well maintained. Gorgeous area and hidden up on a hill. I truly enjoyed this park and so did my kids and my husband. Lots of fun for everyone!!
