This is my FAV beach hands down! I moved here just for the beach & ocean & I fell in love with this area. I've seen a few sharks close to the shore SEVERAL times expanding over the past year & ran into some jelly fish issues (however it is a ocean folks;) I love feeding the birds regularly & 1 little guy lost a foot which breaks my heart but he's a trooper & pushes on! It CAN get crowded at times but it's NEVER been so bad I have to go else where I just usually move further down somewhere. I've found AMAZING shells there but I usually have to go late at night or EARLY in the morn. I caught a BIG crab for my grandson on Thanksgiving but we let him go soon after because he let us know he was a gangster crab with a MAJOR attitude & possessed EXTREME strength by ripping 1 of the little plastic 🌴 trees out of the plastic house (I bought down the road at a shop) he REFUSED to let go of it & while STILL HOLDING IT WAS TRYING TO PINCH ME!! Hahaha (I was worried my 4yr old g-son would stick his fingers in & come out 1 short) NOOO mater how I tried he wasn't giving the 🌴 tree up & as he ran sideways back into the ocean you seen him hanging onto that little palm waving it like a flag held high after a sweet victory & he & the 🌴 dissapeared into the beautiful clear water!! (SO IF YOU EVER VISIT & SEE A CRAB RUNNING AROUND HOLDING A LITTLE PLASTIC 🌴 TREE OVER HIS HEAD LIKE A UMBRELLA TAKE A PIC OR GIVE A UPDATE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO MISS HIM...

My niece always wanted to come back here. Myself and my sisters family got do over the past few days there in Florida coming from Illinois and St. Louis Missouri. Like St. Louis, Florida was having there weather issues but we got to spend some time before the weather moved in. The sugar sand beaches not only are quite beautiful, will take you some time to manage your way to the sea, if you never been there before.🐚 Once we got settled, I was in awe of the beautiful view of it.! Watching the kids with their families playing in the water. While some kids with their parents went looking for seashells. My niece and her friend's daughter played, took pictures, and hunted seashells down by the sea.🐚 I have been to Florida 1other time: to Daytona Beach, and Indian Head beach, 1st time on a dune type beach🐚. I got see a paddle boarder doing his thing in the water, he quite experienced 🐳. Watching the seagulls flying their little one looking for fish🐟. One dive-bombed for fish 🐟 right in front of me!. Then weather behind us was moving in and we got up to leave. Truly a great weekend 🐌!We went back in August, and truly loved...

I love this area. I live in Missouri and choose to vacation in Florida because of the beaches. I have stayed along the gulf cost from Venice all the way up to Pensacola and I will say Pensacola is my favorite. The coast line is beautiful and the easy access to parking right along the beach is wonderful. The walks are not too long and they typically have free parking all along the shore line. Very kid friendly with the restaurants and shop in the area. They love seeing travelers around here even got a "thanks for choosing to vacation here" from a local in a parking lot when they saw my out of state plates and she really meant it. Great...
