Still not entirely sure what I found.
I was just out exploring, following a trail that wasn’t on any of the usual maps, when I saw it—a massive concrete structure rising out of the hills like it had been placed there by something not of this world. There’s no signage, no obvious entrance, and yet it doesn’t feel abandoned. It feels watched.
The main tower... it’s hard to describe. It’s like a monument, or maybe a transmitter. The walls have these strange, almost symbolic carvings. Inside, light pours down from a skylight in such a specific way, it almost feels like it’s meant to guide someone—or something.
The space is silent. Not empty, but waiting. I caught a glimpse of some old tech tucked behind a half-closed panel. Not modern. Not military. Not anything I recognized. And yet, the whole place felt peaceful, like it’s been quietly guarding the world for a long time.
I couldn’t shake the sense that I wasn’t supposed to be there—but not in a threatening way. More like I was brushing up against something ancient and protective. Like I had wandered too close to a threshold between ordinary life and something... far bigger.
