Santee Recreation and Water Park — Attraction in Santee

I've only gone twice. The summer of 2024. And both times the employees are so helpful with kids that are for lack of words problematic. All the employees are rather Young but certainly qualify for the job and are Pleasant to be around. Even if you have to run to the car to grab your hat since it is so bright out there, doesn't matter male or female lifeguard- they are willing to watch your baby with their lives and I love they are posted at every corner possible to ensure the safety of you and your family. That even love hearing the whistles blow whenever they see children running or anyone for that matter LOL because sometimes it can get a little too exciting. It is small and not overcrowded...

Their website showed open, planned an outing with grandson, showed up during business hours only to find them closed for the season. I pulled up their website while sitting in front of the locked gates, phoned them, only to be told by, what sounded like a teenager, that they were closed for the season. I suggested they update the website, and she just giggled and said yes ma’am. That’s just a terrible way to handle your business! One change on the website would’ve made all the difference in a 1 star rating vs a 5...

Park was nice and not crowded. A handfull life guards were not doing there job. One was a ladies man during his shift change approached my wife smiling until he saw me and turned around. I actually had to assist a child to the shallow end that was going under and swallowed water and was choking. When he finally saw her he told her to not do that again.
