Read moreAbsolutely wonderful. We are so lucky to live in a city that offers many wonderful outdoor spaces! Bird key park is no exception.
The views are incredible! Even from your parked car overlooking the water, you can enjoy a beautiful scene. Walk on the paved sidewalk under the bridge and you’ll find people fishing and relaxing. There are many benches and places to sit and a few picnic tables if you want to have a bite to eat by the water. Walk a bit more (under and around the bridge) and you’ll be at a little beach with seating. Our pup LOVES to play fetch there. Every dog he’s encountered has been friendly and playful. We’ve only had friendly and kind people sharing the space there as well. There are pet waste bags too, in case you forget, and usually a few tennis balls to throw for the pups!

Lastly, to guild the lilly, as it were, access to these free amenities is facilitated by ample (also free!) parking. If you haven't enjoyed Bird Key Park, I would ask,...
