Took my little dogs to the park and they were over run with sandburs. They tried getting them off their feet ended up with them on their faces, feet, bodies, and in their mouths. We kept trying to get them off the dogs bodies. It was horrible. I don't know why they can not sod the area to keep the burs down. We must have picked out several dozen burs while my little guys yelped. It was not good. They are everywhere on the little dogs side. Maybe if they planted a tree or two it would help make grass. Perfect amount of activity, different dogs and owners rotating consistently in and out over a period of 2.5 hours. It could use some upkeep, but it was clean and that is what is important. Read moreIt is large, but needs renovating. There is a large and small dog zone, and a very short trail to isolate if needed. The toys and equipment here are old and dirty, and there needs to be better poop management since some owners are simply lazy. Otherwise my Elkhound has a decent time here running with a couple dogs and sniffing the premises. This is a concern for all dog parks, but beware of sick/untrained/aggressive dogs.
