Wine was good but flights were overpriced, food was an incredible ripoff.
The $16 "Artichoke dip in a Rustic Bread Bowl" - there was no "rustic bread bowl," it was a small plastic bowl of what looked like store-bought artichoke dip with what tasted like store bought round chips on a paper plate. No bread bowl in site. complete ripoff.
The $16 "Buffalo Chicken Dip" was about the same. A small plastic bowl of generic buffalo dip and some chips. Lame. At least this one didn't pretend to come in a bread bowl.
The $19 "Artisan Cheese Board" was somehow a bigger waste of money. It was a pre-made plastic to-go container with a block of cheese you had to cut yourself, a dollop of some sort of creamy cheese (which was very tasty), a lil tiny bit of some fruits or something and a couple nuts. No crackers or bread or anything to PUT the cheese onto. No board in site. Just a partitioned plastic to-go container.
The $17 Meatballs? Yeah, they were really good, but at nearly $6/meatball it was a complete ripoff.
The flights of wine were 4 tiny shot glasses on a paper plate. The winery we went to after gave you 6 small glasses on a nice cup-holding circular metal contraption for $1 less.
We left before seeing how bad they could rip us off for entrees and went to a different winery instead.
Overall, it felt more like a dive...
Read moreWalked in and wasn't greeted. We've never been here so didn't know the protocol. We waited for a few minutes to see if we should seat ourselves or not and ended up having to stop someone walking by to see what we should be doing. Once we got someone's attention, we asked to taste some wine. We were given one cup to have between the three of us for a white. After we decided to get that one, we wanted to try a red. WE WERE SERVED THE RED IN THE SAME CUP AS THE WHITE. Hard to believe this place is a real winery as they cross contaminate the wines for tastings.
We bought two bottles of wine and ordered two flat bread pizzas. As a previous reviewer said, they were served on paper plates, were incredibly small, BURNED ON THE BOTTOM, and worst of all, we were told to go get them. So we paid 80+ dollars to seat ourselves, taste a red mixed with a white which we had to split between us, eat burned pizza, and get our own food. At that point, I don't even remember if the wine...
Read moreI highly recommend this wonderful winery! We were out with our corgi's for a little day trip & wanted to find a dog friendly place to eat. I called ahead & was told they were welcome "on the grass" tables. I was picturing a picnic table or 2 tucked away, but I was pleased to find many nice umbrella tables, just outside the concrete patio. Close enough to have a nice conversation with a couple on the patio. The food was delish. I had the Lorenzo sandwich & my hubby had the meatball sandwich. For my spoiled pups, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich for them to split. They were kind enough to cut it up for them. It's the small kindness's that will have us back for future visits. Great staff, service, food & wine! We shared a bottle of the Peach Riesling. It...
