I had been meaning to try Bluet wine for a while, and finally picked up a bottle recently (Charmat method), and really loved it.
I think the other reviewers might be misunderstanding what this wine is trying to be, or maybe the Bluet brand themselves might be marketing to the wrong crowd. This is a completely dry sparkling wine, and feels more like a self-fermented lambic style beer, with plenty of blueberry flavor (obviously) but also tons of other unexpected and complex notes - a little bitter, a little astringent, and yes, a note of olives, as observed by others. To me, these are all positive attributes.
So if you're into funky and unexpected flavors, as I am, then this is definitely something...

Read moreNot what I expected, it was more like a sparkling Merlot, very dry. I could not detect any significant blueberry flavor at all,maybe just a hint. It also had a strange aftertaste, almost chemical. I ended up dumping it out as it was not drinkable for me. Maybe they would do better to actually describe the wine.
