Wanted to visit and explore with my family.
Got inside and asked where the trash was as there were no receptacles outside.
Was told by the rudest women that they don’t have a trash! I asked where can I throw it way. She told me she doesn’t know or care!
I guess I’m just confused how a county area doesn’t have trash and the employees could care less about the customers and visitors.
To the person who said they were there,*
My family was the only one at the site at this time. I had 5 kids and 2 adults and our dog.
This “greeter ” went outside to fill the map area with pamphlets and NEVER once introduced themselves while we sat in the outdoor area talking and grabbing masks.
I was also never told of a rest stop with a trash as I did yell to my spouse to ask if he say a trash. The greater heard and never once answered!
Also the responder to this post IS the rude women who never greeted us and was the only other person there while my family was.
So don’t say you were also there as a customer! You were running the place!
Shame you have to lie in your post!
We had planned on doing the tour as it’s free for military but with how rude the worker was we decided not to! Not how you should treat veterans!
The only words this women said was I don’t know or care! Never once was I told where I could find a trash can!
Review your tapes! I have my son, my teenage daughter, her boyfriend all hear what was said!
I then went outside and told my spouse and other children!
I have no reason to lie nor do the other 7 others that were with!
I would have happily taken my trash if I was told where! That’s why I left it! Bc there was never one reason for her to be rude! The only thing we can think of is bc my children are of Asian decent! Was it a...

In the basement we found an exhibit dedicated to old, long gone resort properties---and found the exact place my parents had honeymooned at many years ago---and then found from talking to the people working there that the very same resort had been rebuilt, piece by piece, just a few miles away! You never know what you might find by dropping in somewhere! The Heritage Center is definitely...
