As of 2023, Scituate Light has been undergoing restoration to its lateen room. In early November they are finishing copper plating the structure and plan to Mount the light back onto the tower soon. It’s a nice spot to hang out, get a look at the sea. You can walk out to the end of the jetty in front of the light if you want some exercise.

Very nice place for having lunch or a picnic. The parking lot offers enough parking spaces at almost any time of year.

The lighthouse is currently disassembled. The lantern room and copula are currently on the ground on the backside of the lighthouse. It looks like it might possibly be being restored.
