Kocher Park — Attraction in Scott Township

Super cute park with tables and access to the river. However it definitely doesn’t feel the safest. I went here one time and a man literally walked up to me and was within 2 inches of my face and looked like he was gonna push me in the water. When I turned around and noticed him he stumbled and laughed with his friends. Not the first time I had a weird encounter here. This a cute little park, has a covered pavilion with plenty of seating surrounded by trees and the creek.... you can hear the birds chirping (and while you can hear the sounds of the traffic at times) its still a very nice an relaxing spot to enjoy with the family (just as long as people dont ruin it by destroying it with their left over garbage etc.) It definitely is a nice place to go to relax and or walk the nature trails or even fish...

This a relaxing place to visit. There are very nice walking paths, with ID tags on some trees and posters identifying plants and birds, and little house for the bird population. It is a very clean area and a wonderful place to walk your dogs. There are several areas with easy access to the creek for swimming and wading for families and their four footed friends.
