Spending a week at my friend's place on the shores of Barren River Lake was the perfect escape. The peacefulness of the lake and the natural beauty surrounding it made every moment truly special. Our boat tour was a big adventure for us with family and kids. We are drawn to the water but are too intimidated to rent a boat, as we are not accomplished boaters. We were feeling little nervous about piloting a pontoon boat for the first time.
