Riverside Park — Attraction in Scottville

Very disappointed with this campground. We reserved a spot for a tent thinking there would be electric at least! Apparently there’s no electric, which wouldn’t have been a big deal but, when we asked if it was okay to park at our campsite she told us no and that we can’t even drive back there because it was “too wet” so we’d have to carry all of our stuff to our site…with that being said we decided not to stay there. There’s also no Information on refunds but apparently they don’t do refunds and they charge you more for canceling! We will never reserve a site with them again and I will make sure no one we know does either. What a joke...

Unfortunately I never thought I'd be complaining about anything at this campground but here I am. Our family has been reserving multiple sites over the last few years for a family campout. Just so happens due to unforseen medical issues we've had to cancel . Thought possibly the management would work with us on a partial refund of the more than $500. Or a credit towards campsites for next year. I understand if it was the busy time of year and they had to turn people away but thus is mid October. We reserved a spot here in January after we had such a wonderful time last year. I am very disappointed we arrived and as we were setting up the camps who were supposed to be in the spot next to us arrived only to find their spot was taken by someone else. There is one post for power for 4 campsites and one water for 3 sites. Manager did nothing for the campers the originally reserved the site they had to share. I will not be going back with these new managers. We had such a great time last year and very disappointed this year. No one should have to...
