We have been going to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands for 27 years. We love them both. Great beaches, nice restaurants. And, of course, we have enjoyed the Beach Club on Seabrook, until now. It has beautiful pools, but you cannot bring your own towels. You must rent one from them for $5.00 per person, per day. And you MUST cover your chair with one of their towels, because your sun screen might stain their chairs. That means you MUST rent a towel. The towels have chips in them to prevent their high class clientele from stealing them. If you don't turn your towel in, you will be charged $20. Also, be sure to order your amenity cards ahead of time, or you will be charged a $75 late fee. It seems that Seabrook Island is becoming the "Carnival Cruise Line" of the Lowcountry Islands. We love to see and experience all of the wildlife from birds to crabs to alligators to dolphins. You get to see it all. The residents and staff are welcoming. The island is filled with beautiful places from the marsh to the tidal rivers to the amazing beach. We have raised our children coming here every vacation and intend to keep coming after they have gone out on their own. The island is kept very clean and well manicured. We enjoy driving around the island at night when the landscape lights highlight the beautiful islands and trees along Seabrook Island's road.
