Located in America's pottery capital of Seagrove, North Carolina Pottery Center displays historical pottery made as early as 2000 BC through the present. Displays includes American Indian techniques and wares fired in camp fires, and modern exhibits made by local potters.
Out back are two wood fired kilns available for up close inspection. The Center hosts a ton of information on local artists in the area, should one like more information on where to visit.
The gift shop has a good selection of pottery items, gifts, and books on local tradesmen and women, glazes, and techniques.
