This is one of our favorite stops on the road from the Portland regional out to Seaside or Cannon Beach. The camp 18 restaurant has a fantastic gift shop, nice bathrooms, and make some of the best cinnamon rolls ever tasted! Plus there’s all the old logging equipment to check out, so it’s really a great place to stretch your legs. @DinkumTribe ADHD family travel @DinkumTribe ADHD family travel @DinkumTribe ADHD family travel #loggingmachine #roadsideattraction #oregontravelideas #loggingequipment #placestovisit #oregoncheck

Let’s grab a leisurely breakfast at Camp 18 on our way to the Oregon coast. This massive log cabin boasts a large warm fireplace inside with cozy nooks and and open eating area inside. The food is made to order and the gigantic cinnamon rolls are to die for. On the property you’ll find huge vintage logging equipment and several retired railcars. All of this massive, historic equipment is situated next to the most peaceful river which showcases the importance the logging industry has played in Oregon. There is also a logger’s memorial onsite which is worth the stop alone. #camp18 #logging #heavyequipment #oregon #logcabin #restaurant #logginghistory #sawmill #oregonlogging #railcar #uniquerestaurant #pnw

We've driven past this restaurant for years, but only recently did my husband and I finally stop. We were on the way home from our 30th wedding anniversary getaway, so we thought it would be fun to check it out. He really enjoyed seeing the old logging camp equipment up close. I loved the old building constructed of massive logs and filled with antique furniture and stained glass lamps. The meal was excellent and the wait staff very attentive. It was a really fun experience and we will likely...

I've been stopping by for years, it's sad Gordon isn't around anymore god rest his sole. But 1 of a kind labor of love this building is. The warmth of a fire from the huge hearth and the log walls are so thick phon3 service is pretty well non existent. Have a walk thru the museum grounds. And pick up some appeal support a family business and the logging community. The loggers memorial is heavy. Worth the stop. You...

This is my kind of museum! I love the history of the Northwest. My wife and I came upon CAMP 18 while on vacation, and what a place! The exhibits of old logging equipment, tractors, trucks, and statuary are awesome. A person can easily spend hours walking around the property learning about the perils of logging in the Oregon wilds, and then visit the restaurant for an enormous homestyle meal at a...
