The park offers a serene and scenic experience with a series of gently descending levels, making for a peaceful walk down. The paths are mostly sloped, with some stairs in areas that offer more direct transitions. While the descent is easy and pleasant, the climb back up can be a bit of a challenge, though not so steep as to be considered strenuous. It’s a great spot for a leisurely stroll, even with a stroller, though the ascent requires a bit more effort on the way back up. The view from the park is a major highlight, with Mount Rainier, Snoqualmie, and the surrounding valley all visible on clear days. The beauty of Mount Rainier reflecting the sunset adds an extra layer of magic to the experience. Overall, the park offers a peaceful environment with a moderate climb and stunning views, making it a lovely spot to visit for a calm outdoor escape.

This little park overlooking Kent Valley is a cool piece of art earthwork created in 1979 by Robert Morris. It originally was an active mine quarry back in the 1930’s. This place was repurposed to be a good small park to walk your dog, to decompress and to also pick blackberries. My brother and I discovered this place 2018. This was located near my brother and daughter’s residence. I never did a review until now. 😂During that time, it was safe to park the car and take our time walking in circles literally. We took some pictures, sat on the bench while we ate some snacks, had good conversation and enjoyed the view.

A calming place to walk. A walking meditation. Thoughts become calm. Conversations are soft and sweet. There’s enough space for visitors to be deep in their own experience - and enjoy the poetry of nature that is the earthen work.

My car got broken into while parked in the parking lot. I was not far away walking in the park, but it didn't prevent the break in. The local cops said this is a frequent smash and grab spot. Proceed with caution, especially right now when glass to replace a car window can be on 6+ months of backorder from supply...
