The Ridge was a group of little islands back when Florida was mostly covered in water. Where I was standing was one of them, it is part of buying back land and returning it to the abundant wild life that call it home. Yes, Bears, Panthers, snakes and alligators. Great time imagining all of this in a place we can visit, you might find many interesting artifacts and such!
