Weathington Park — Attraction in Section

This is a beautiful and amazing view! Had no idea this existed until we passed by and saw the sign. We were out for a drive and made an u-turn immediately. Small walking trail, public restrooms, and 2 pretty big viewing decks to look out over Lake Guntersville and the Tennessee River. There is a house right next to this little park, and if they are the ones that created this little scenic area, thank you! It would be the perfect place for a very small wedding ceremony. Nice place to pull off of Hwy 35 and a scenic overlook of the Tennessee River. There are 5 picnic tables(very nice), and they are on concrete foundations. One of them is handicap accessible. There are 12 parking spots, two of which are handicap accessible. There are bathrooms with accessible ramp. The view is gorgeous! There is also a walking track around the small park.
