First time I went there a woman (w/o a dog, mind you, but who presented herself as some kind of monitor) asked me for my 6 pound puppyโs rabies certificate. It had just rained and I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE but was told I could not stay w/o the certificate. Another person told me a woman there (probably the same woman) called the police on him for a doggie park rules violation. The last time time I was there, most likely the same pompous โrude old manโ mentioned in a another review, hassled me about a rules violation. Again, I was one of only two people in the small dog area and although he was on the big dog side he felt compelled to come over and complain. In summary, itโs a small, unkempt, and unfriendly (unless you are in the clique) place in my opinion. Everyone is attentive to their dogs, needing to clean up their dog's poop and even offer bags to others. I appreciate how welcoming everyone was to us and our dog! I instantly trusted everyone's dogs knowing they all play probably weekly/bi weekly already. The only bad thing about this dog park and one star less is this over whelming septic smell that wafts over the area. Not sure from what or where it's coming but it's definitely unsettling. I said thank you and went about my business. He kept trying to give me a flyer I think he spent his own money on printing with the rules, I said thank you even after I refused but he kept trying to hand it to me. I've been to a dozen parks in the surrounding area and have never encountered anyone who is willing to harass a patron of a public park. I hope the city knows they have an unsolicited enforcer. Will not return.i can see why nobody...
