If you have kids this is THE place to take them! I took my son and my sister in law, her fiancee, and their three boys here two days ago and in two hours time we couldn't even get to all of the attractions! Theres an unbelievable amount of educational activities inside and outside of this museum. Driving down the highway it doesnt look that big, but let me assure you, it is gargantuan on the inside! As soon as you walk in theres a fossil of a dinosaur similar to a tyrannosaurus rex. Theres different "rooms" within the main hall and all sorts of different themes to accompany them. One room was a court room with a black robe to where with a gavel and the judges bench to take pictures. One room had a really old school fire engine. Another room had a Ford model T in pristine condition but you couldn't play with it. One room was dark and had a glow in the dark wall that you can stand up against and leave your shadow on the wall. Another room had a mini grocery store with a cash register you can play with. Another room had giant foam blocks similar to legos you can play and build with. Another room had a miniature water park you can make dams and aqueducts with a giant mechanical bucket you operate by wheel and pulleys to fill and dump and all sorts of things to play with that are water related. There was a medical room with a dummy inside of a clear plastic box to teach kids how operations are done and the dummy had the internal organs labeled in it to teach kids anatomy. Another room was an indoor playground with slides and tubes and the whole works. Another room had bubbles as the theme with giant bubble makers and rings in the floor you can stand in the middle of and pull a rope and lift the ring to be surrounded by bubbles. The outdoor train was closed the day we went there u fortunately. And there were other attractions outside we didnt even have the time to get to within two hours of visiting. And attractions inside the building we didnt even have time to get to. They offer a very big discount for veterans, which was greatly appreciated. I was also worried about our kids getting sick since it's a children's museum and kids are excellent at spreading sicknesses, but the staff there sprayed and sanitized the attractions as soon as the children moved on and the area was empty. Every time I turned around they were cleaning and sanitizing obsessively, which is an excellent policy in a children's museum. This is a place anyone can go and have a blast and make memories that will last forever. 5 stars doesnt even feel like it's enough. I would give it 10 stars easily if I had that option available. It was so far above and beyond anything I expected I was absolutely amazed. The hardest part was dragging my screaming and crying toddler out to the car by the hand because he wanted to run back into the museum. He probably would have lived there forever if he could have. So be prepared for irate little ones when its time to go. That's the only drawback is that its TOO good and...

The most appealing part of Jasmine Moran is that it is directed toward small children. We have been to many museums that catered to toddlers or preschool aged children in three or four exhibits but also cater to a wider range of ages, even adults. Toddlers can get restless or uninterested in these situations, at times even upset that they're unable to get out and get hands on, so driving nearly two hours so that they could truly participate in every exhibit was going to be well worth it, we thought. Upon arriving, our two and four year olds were so excited to start trying all the areas out. A light bright wall, pretend grocery shopping, a fire truck, foam blocks- all perfect for small children. So why the two star review? Two reasons. One being that the facility has many run down areas. Dirty manipulatives, foul odors and broken parts are just a few things we noticed. The bigger reason though is that there were about 60 summer camp kids, aged about 6-12 but most looked at least 10, running around taking over. We could only identify TWO staff members in the entire museum- the one at admissions and a teenager in one exhibit area. These kids were too old to be learning anything new at this museum and many were instead rough housing and acting out. Our smaller children could not even do anything because every area was clogged up with these kids. A couple much bigger boys even pushed our 4 year old out of their way. We felt like we could barely let our 2 year old down to play for fear that he would be stepped on! No one was making sure rules were followed. No one was monitoring the stations. It was a chaotic mess. An insane free-for-all. We left after only 2 hours. We payed to watch out-of-control kids run wild all over, yell insults at each other and take full advantage of the fact that no one was supervising. The museum either needs to have more staff and limit the size of groups or have certain days for school/camp groups so that others can avoid going on those days. We would try to go back but we have no guarantee that we wouldn't end up in the same situation again. It was highly disappointing and a complete waste of money. I will not be recommending the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum to any...

Found this children's museum while planning a visit to Shawnee and we decided it was close enough to check it out. My nieces (2, 4, and 6) loved it! This summer my sister has been taking the girls to every childrens' learning experience/museum she could find within a couple hours drive and I've gone along to help with some of them. The learning rooms/modules here are widely varied and extremely well done and there were some things that I haven't seen anywhere else. Even the things that we've seen similar versions elsewhere had their own take on it here so it still felt fresh rather than 'the same old thing'.

Usually my 4 year old niece gravitate to and spends the bulk of her time I shopping and kitchen play areas. She did spend some time in that area here, but not nearly as much as she usually does. Not because Jasmine Moran's version is lackluster, but because there was so much else she wanted to explore that captured her attention. My flight engineer and hobby pilot brother-in-law enjoyed sitting in the cockpit with his oldest as they "flew" together.

At the end of a couple hours we had to go, but none of them wanted to leave. If it was closer to home, I think we'd be members visiting regularly, but I can see it being a regular addition when they do an...

Add this to your list of things to do with kids in Oklahoma ✅ 📍Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum in Seminole, Oklahoma We really enjoyed our time but more importantly, our kids enjoyed their time. The museum is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but still a short drive from OKC. It’s also the oldest feeling kids museum we’ve been to in Oklahoma, but they have some nice touches that are unique. Here are some highlights: 🚂 There’s a cute small train included in your admission. It only runs at the top of the hour so you’ll have to watch for that. đŸ§—â€â™€ïž There are lots of areas for climbing. A very odd structure with a slide and a boulder wall that’s very small. Still, it’s good for small kids. ✈ A cockpit of a plane kids can go in. 🐟 A tiny aquarium that is along the wall of one room. đŸȘ A digging area to pretend you’re digging for dinosaurs. Overall, we had a fun time. Tickets are a bit pricey 💰 but they’re a part of the Museums for All program. So if you’re on SNAP, there is a significant discount although WIC does not work. #travelvlog #familytravel #oklahoma #oklahomatravel #seminole
