We visited this establishment on 08/03/2025. As I'm scrolling through the reviews left here I can't help but think these must be written by friends or family of the owners or the people that actually work there. I can't even believe that visitors would give this establishment the great ratings that it has on here. There was nothing clean about this place. As soon as we pulled in to the driveway of this HOUSE, that looked awful, I thought, surely this isn't the right place. Every area that I saw on this property were absolutely aweful living conditions for these poor animals. I did not see a single area that had an animal in it with clean drinking water. I actually ask a womant that stated that she worked there, where all of the fresh drinking water was for the animals, she stated that " all animals get their water changed 3 times per day." We were there for the 10a.m tour, which is when they open. One would think that all animals would have clean drinking water prior to business. We had just viewed the kangaroos then were walked over to view the lemurs and then a monkey. This poor Monkey cage, had an outdoor heat lamp that was busted on the ground, with a broken light bulb shattered on the ground, glass and all. There was rotten meat in several different cages that we visited. We viewed another monkey shortly after beginning the tour, we were talking to her and she was swinging back and for and actually held her hand. A male volunteer that works there started walking towards us the monkey started yelling and going crazy in it's cage. He told us to be careful around this monkey as it was mean. I told the man that we had do problem w the monkey until he got closer to her. We absolutely felt beyond horrible for these animals and we left about half way through the tour. I just couldn't pretend that these conditions were anywhere near satisfactory conditions for these animals. If you plan on going,...
Read moreThis is a very interactive, hands on experience with an assigned guide (you'll be part of a small group). Many of the animals are rescues: the staff makes it very clear that the animals' safety and comfort is of utmost importance (as well as the humans). This may not be the best choice for very young children (they need to be able to understand how to touch, hold, & interact with the animsls): so ages under 4 or 5 might be iffy. There's a good bit of walking on uneven ground (not sidewalks) so be prepared for that. Our guide Cheryl was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone in our group was able to participate as fully as possible. AND she always checked each animal first and explained why it wasn't a good day to handle certain animals directly. You must purchase your tickets in advance & reserve a spot. The ONLY reason I'm not giving a 5 star raring is that currently you'll need to use the Port A Potty if...
Read moreThe best and coolest experience I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend and definitely get the predator pass it’s so worth it! Completely safe and educational for anyone who likes or even fears or is simply curious about wolfs, coyotes, bobcats snakes etc. These amazing people take these animals that are abused, mistreated, malnourished and give them homes and love and let us learn and enjoy the company of some animals we typically wouldn’t get to interact with. Ticket prices are beyond reasonable. We paid $150 with predator passes for 3 people. The animals were so gentle and easy it’s almost like you weren’t really sure if you were petting a wolf/fox/coyote or a dog. I had an entertaining experience as someone in my group got peed on by a fox and then claimed by Eli the bobcat. My favorite was the fox pen all though I don’t have any photos mostly bc I was too busy enjoying it. I am definitely...
