Such a beautiful and peaceful place! You can camp here for free, which we did and it was amazing! We had the place to ourselves for the night after the fishermen left and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The views are spectacular and there was wildlife everywhere! Deer, otter and an array of birds put on a show for us. One of the best places we’ve camped!

Wow!!! What a serene location ♥️ There were some fisher-people out and about Saturday morning but nothing busy. The red clay can stain your floors so be careful of that. Otherwise, this is a place to visit and enjoy. The weather during our July visit was absolutely spectacular. A little sun shade and a cup of coffee made my morning happy 🌞

Camped here after a long day of exploring Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The location was perfect, as it is only a few miles from the park. Beautiful lake, views were excellent, area was clean, and very quiet. Highly recommend.
