Marlyn Nelson County Park at Port Williams — Attraction in Sequim

Sea side picnic/park area where one can definitely spend some time to just unwind after a long day. We arrived at Sequim, WA on a Monday morning and decided to have a nice dinner somewhere outside. We found this place and it was definitely worth it. It is just a short 15 min drive from where we were staying and the view was phenomenal. There are about 3 tables and some fire pit/grills outside where people can cook food. A couple of benches and a small entry to the side of the sea/beach where people can walk around beachside. Beautiful place to see the full moon when it is out. We got to see the "pink moon" here and it was just so magical seeing it reflect over the hills and onto the ocean. I love the beach, great little county park, very simple, a couple of picnic benches a couple of rings for fire pits have a fire when you're allowed, you can watch from the top a large rocks or down in the sand and do a little rock hounding. You could walk in either direction north or south or south to north and it's straight or no real obstacles. The cliffs are naturally slowly receiving so it looks kind of cool with the exposed roots of trees and bushes .

Overall it's a great little beach oh okay so getting out of your vehicle and looking towards the water you'll be looking east so with that during the sunset hours the beach where the cliffs block the west create a shadow or shade during the sunset hours, so that being said sunrise is fantastic, and sunset is well not as fantastic but it's pretty...

Great view of the water and across the strait to Canada. Nice boat launch at this park. Witnesses several canoers and paddle-boarders get in and out of the water, though this boat launch is sized for much bigger vessels. It is wide enough and built for pick-up truck and trailer style of boat launching. Was here midday on a nice sunny Friday, and there were about 10 cars there, with that there was still ample room for parking. Several parking spots give you great view of the water from your car.
