Stopping at Old Barn Lavender Company Farm and meeting and talking with Melissa and Dave was one of my favorite memories and highlights of the 8 lavender farms I visited in Sequim. They were so down home, friendly, real people with loads of kindness, interesting, and hard working. Some friends had stopped by that they were sitting and visiting with, and Dave and Melissa invited me to sit down and join them. Me, a total stranger, who had just stopped by on my way into their gift shop! We laughed, had fun, and I got to know about their interesting background. Later, while Dave went back to the hot fields to harvest more lavender, Melissa showed me her lovely copper equipment from Portugal where she distills the lavender and patiently answered my questions about it and showed me where they dry lavender. She showed me a glass bottle (in the photos) of the hydrosol (the clear liquid at the bottom) and lavender essential oil at the top to show me how much oil comes from distilling each batch of lavender plants. Families and anyone who loves playing free video games, video pinball, pool, or corn hole should stop by. They have the original Pac Man arcade game plus several others and the new pinball machines with a video screen instead of actual bumpers and flippers which I had never seen before. The lavender lemonade was just perfect on a hot day and not too sweet or tart, just refreshing with a hint of lavender. They offered different sizes for the lavender oil and lavender buds for cooking. I bought both plus hydrosol (good for everything from cleaning windows and countertops to using as a toner or spritz for your face). When I am near Sequim, I am definitely stopping by to see Dave and Melissa and you should too. Great people!

This is my first ever google review. That is because this farm far exceeded my expectations. That is saying a lot since we have been to several other lavender farms. They have five varieties of lavender to pick from to create a beautiful bouquet along with refreshing lavender lemonade and lavender products. The owners answered all our questions and we learned a lot. To top it all off they had throwback arcade and pinball games my son enjoyed. Everyone left with a smile on their faces.

The Old Barn Lavender Company is an absolute joy to visit! Melissa and her family were extremely welcoming and the property is beautiful. Between the different types of lavender, arcade games, lavender products, and thoughtfully decorated barn it was such a fun experience! I'm a photographer and wanted to include lavender into a session and Melissa was wonderful to work with. The goats are an...
