I went to the Port Angeles Farmer's Market today and attempted to buy some vegetables from James, the owner, of this farm. He was busy, and there was a line of customers, however, his behavior towards me was repugnant at best. I waited for him to help the three customers in line before me, then attempted to pay for the vegetables I had. He completely ignored me and went to the next person in line, offering to help her and asking if she'd be interested in some cauliflower that was on sale. I was left standing, right in front of the register, holding my vegetables. She even looked at me, trying to figure out if she should respond to him or not. It was painfully obvious to everyone that he was not interested in my business. I put my vegetables down and went to a different vendor. I have been a customer of their specific stand at the market for several years now. However, I will definitely be spending my time and money elsewhere from now on. The boxes contain more veggies than I've gotten from other CSAs at a better value.
