St. Mark Coptic Church — Attraction in Seven Hills

Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Church is one of the oldest and large Coptic churches in the US. It has a great and loving congregation and priests. I can personally say that Father Mikhail is a very humble and spiritual person who is always welcoming and willing to lend an ear and freely give of his time to anyone who needs to talk regardless of how busy he is. Coptic iconography is great and the atmosphere is spiritual and peaceful. Activities are available for all age groups from Sunday school classes to fellowship meetings. Egyptian festival very enjoyable. My attention: sanctuary; icons history, baptism, wall plaques showing pictures and history beginning of Jesus birth til his death. Q&A (4) 16 year olds, very informative, knowledgeable. No, they were not tour guides, randomly talking. It's nice to know and share culture. Oh, we celebrate Christ birthday 12/25, they (orthodox) celebrate on 1/7. I believe they use the Julian Calendar not sure. This was a very enjoyable experience...

Everyone that goes to this church is SO rude. I live down the street and they cut you off pulling out of the parking lot and then flip off their middle finger at you like it’s your fault that they cut you off. Very much don’t seem to be like good wholehearted church going people at all. Find another church elsewhere with kinder people that don’t flip you off as they just came out of worship on Sunday.
