Windsong Estate Event Center — Attraction in Severance

I cannot say enough good things about Windsong. The team is so incredible and organized, as well as helpful and kind. I thought I was going to have to do most things myself in terms of decor/setup. I didn't realize that they are willing and equipped to do literally everything you need if you provide them with instructions. They hung all the decor from the ceiling (which was a lot), set up my custom photo booth, the temporary tattoo station, the dessert bar, handed out wedding favors, gently kept us on track with the schedule we wanted, brought us cocktail hour snacks up to the bridal suite before the reception, then later brought us our food from the buffet just so we could take a breather and enjoy a moment to ourselves. I just wasn't expecting that level of care and attentiveness and it really made the day feel so smooth and special. For what you're getting, it is SO affordable. And the space itself is beautiful as is, but also has the potential for you to add your own flair and make it really special. The photos from the outdoor ceremony were gorgeous, and the ones from the reception were awesome. My daughter and SIL had their wedding here and it was wonderful! The staff was very helpful and professional. I was not in on much of the planning but was there for the rehearsal the day before and of course, the wedding itself. All through both days we were given all the help we needed in a professional and friendly manner. The venue is lovely and clean, and we were all really delighted with the selection of options for decorating. They allowed us to bring in our own caterer without being controlling about it or having a strict list of who we could choose from. The suite for the ladies to get ready in was beautiful and spacious. And the outdoor space has such a spectacular view of the mountains, plus multiple areas for gathering and playing games. All this and it was about the most affordable option we found in all our searching. All other venues wanted so much more money for half the service. If I have one criticism, it's that the sound system was a bit inadequate to overcome the noise from the road. We had quite a few guests who said later they really couldn't hear most of the ceremony very well, and they were not hard of hearing or seated in the back. One more good speaker would have made all...
