Queenstown Park — Attraction in Severn

This park is a small county operated park. It has had numerous improvements over the last decade, but I think it still needs more improvements.

Good: The playground is nice and new. The playground is separated from the roadway with a fence. The park also has plenty of parking now.

Needs Improving: Overall safety of the park feels lacking. I felt like I was always looking over my shoulder and back at my car.

The woods behind the main part of the park also need some improvements. It is littered with junk and a bridge is washed away. While technically it might be state highway land towards the back, the county should get involved. I also think access to the BWI trail using the existing culvert should be...

This is a small quaint park. There is a port o pottie, basketball court and good sized field surrounding the parking lot.
