Workout Anytime has everything you need in a gym. Maybe not everything you could want, but for the needs of someone who simply wants to exercise, it's perfect.

As far as equipment is concerned, Workout Anytime has made excellent use of available space. There is a variety and an abundance of cardio machines, such as elliptical trainers and treadmills. There are two excellent stair climbing machines, which I think is a nice touch to the cardio area. There are at least 2 of each type of weightlifting equipment, so even if there is a crowd, one doesn't need to wait long to get to the desired bar or machine.

The staff is very helpful, and for the most part, friendly. The only complaint I have with the staff concerns one of the janitors who always seems to be in the worst mood possible. I have been a member since March of 2016, and have never been greeted by him. I have heard him openly speaking negatively about other members of the gym, complaining about having to clean up after them.

The cleanliness of the place, however, is second to none. This may be due, in part, to the aforementioned janitor, who does an amazing job of keeping the place clean, almost to a fault. I have seen him put equipment away while I was using it. And don't even breathe on a bench and forget to wipe it down, because it will be wiped down by Mr. Disapproval shortly afterwards. That said, the wipe-down policy is one of the best things about a gym like Workout Anytime.

The XM radio is always at a great volume and there are plenty of televisions.

Membership pricing is very reasonable, with rates starting at $15 monthly. Signing up is not overly complicated, and the staff are very good about explaining fees. Member benefits are also very good. The fitness center doesn't offer a tremendous amount, (tanning, hydromassage) but what it does offer for members is worth the price. There are also member appreciation promotions held very regularly and members can also benefit from fitness coaching.

Finally, the hours are one of the best things about Workout Anytime. Members can, literally, work out ANY time. Members have access all day and night, every day, even on holidays. Staffed hours are only during the day and a member can only bring a guest during those hours.

In summary, Workout Anytime is a great fitness center. Great location, great prices, great equipment and very clean. The only downside is the sour-faced, member-hating, janitor who makes me feel guilty every time I use a dumbbell.

0 stars! I came into this establishment to renew my membership and ms JOY(store manager)decided to steal 279 dollars off my cc! I asked JOY to renew my 1 month membership for 49 dollars. Instead she charged me for a whole year at 279 dollars. But JOY told me that due to their “system” not working properly the charge didn’t go through. I believed her. Why lie right? So I had her put the correct membership and n at 1 month and she assured me to try again. So I did then my cc declined. Thank god I didn’t have a larger card on me and only a smaller one or id not found out about their theft till my monthly statement. So I called capitol one, you know largest cc company on earth, and sure enough JOYs initial charge had gone through for the 279 dollars year. When I asked joy about it she told me capitol one are liars, lol😅😅😅. Then workout anytime’s finance company told me capitol one are liars lol. So I go outside to finish call with my cc company cuz couldn’t hear well inside building and by time I got back inside JOY called the cops on me and tried to have me arrested! To their credit once they knew their scam had been caught they gave me all my cash back, but then then owner CHRIS started harassing me via phone saying I needed to return the money they gave me for stealing from me!!😅😅😅. Even after I continually showed him the recites his company and capitol one gave me. Threatening me with collection agency’s. Unreal. So if you wanna be made a criminal, have your credit score dinged, and your money stolen from you go on down to workout anytime and speak to JOY or the owner Chris and they’ll gladly rob you blind. I was a vacation visitor last weekend who called and bought a couple of three day passes and a day pass for $70. I had to buy it over the phone and in advance because they had nobody on staff at the gym during the hours to buy them onsite. As it turned out for us, it turned out to be a total disaster to use the passes. My fault (and it's easy to make is that I confused the gym "Workout Anytime" with " Anytime Fitness". As we planned, I went to the gym to get our passes out of a lockbox, but because I went to the wrong place, we could not workout. We drove 40 minutes each way to get there (very frustrating). Then, on the next day, my truck began experiencing brake and transmission problems (not good for mountains). My truck was unsafe to drivee n the hills until I could get it looked at and fixed. I called Workout Anytime and told them the whole story and politely asked for a full or partial refund based on the fact that we could not go to the gym. They refused any sort of a refund despite the fact that we could not use the passes. They knew we didn't use them because we never picked up the passes from the lockbox. Uber's and Lyfts would have been too expensive to justifty a couple of trips to the gym. As a business owner myself, I had to give back lots of money due to Covid Restrictions even though my contract's language did not call for it. Next time I visit Gatlinburg, I definitely know a place that I won't do business with in the future (and we go there every couple of years to meet family).
