If you didn't know, Seymour had a flight school during WWII. This museum is for that time period and the issues of WWII. It has models of planes from the time period, and war items as well. It also offers flight simulators for both adults and kids. Admission is free, but they have a donation box. So you don't have to donate, but the donations help them with the upkeep of you can afford to throw them a few bucks. It is rich with history, and helps people of all ages step back in time and get their minds into that timeframe. Highly recommended if you have an open Saturday. Open from 10am until 2pm most Saturdays, barring holidays. They have some items for sale that also help them raise money for the museum. Books, DVDS, and framed airplane pictures are some of the items they have for sale. Highly recommend if you have the time on a Saturday. 😁

Lots of air memorabilia. Tom was very informative as he took us on our tour. It was interesting listening to all the details that he told us.

Displays were varied. Something for everyone. Had ration books on display. Information about the Tuskegee Airmen, airfield nurses and WASPs.

This local museum is really worth your time. As a lifetime pilot and Having learned to fly at Freeman field in 1962 I enjoy stopping out here. You will usually find coffee and donuts on a Saturday morning and very friendly people to tell you about the history of our airport and the impact it had on winning World War II. I am very proud of all the local people who have supported and made this little Museum possible. You can see the fire truck that my wife's father used to drive during the war . A great place to spend two or three hours. Bring the grandchildren and see a piece of History....

My oldest is a WWII nut! I knew he’d love this place and was right. He smiled the whole time.

When we first walked in, a gentleman showed us around. He was very thorough and took his time explaining the exhibits. He explained how a lot of old military equipment was buried on the property and how they are slowing unearthing it.

I thought this would be a quick trip but he made it worth our drive. My kids learned so much and talked about it the...
