A stellar experience all-around. We happened to stop by Glastenview Maple Farm on a trip to Shaftsbury. Immediately, Bill came outside and gave us a most hearty greeting with a big smile. We were overjoyed and excited simply for being greeted with such kind energy. Bill was soon followed by his wife, Susan. They gave us an on-the-spot tour of their maple trees and the process they use to extract sap and produce their maple syrup, which was fascinating. They also described the history of their farm and were happy to answer all our questions. Beyond that, they gave us so many tastings of everything from light and dark maple syrups to bourbon maple syrup and maple syrup snacks. We happily bought a huge container of some light maple syrup as well as a few bottles of bourbon maple syrup both for ourselves and as gifts to our friends. Most of all, Bill and Susan are simply some of the most friendly people you'll find. We felt as if we'd known them for quite some time, and they invited us back to their farm whenever we'd like. We can't wait to return. Thank you, Bill and Susan!

P.S. As soon as we got home, we made some french toast and enjoyed it with our new bourbon...

We had such a great visit here. At first we thought we were lost cuz it went up to a house but in the back is the sugar house. The owner Bill came out to welcome us. He took us out to the maple forest in back and explained how they tap the trees and explained the whole process from beginning to end. Inside the sugar house he explained all the equipment and let us try several samples of the different varieties of syrups they have. Every drop is posited right there. He went way above And beyond to make this a cool experience for us. He Even gave us a recommendation for a local place to go for dinner. Be sure to check the hours before you go because they are very specific times but he was so friendly I bet if you came on off hours he would still give you the tour if he was home....

We just had our very first snow in NJ. We added ginger root infused maple syrup with snow. It tasted amazing and reminded me again how wonderful when we visited Glastenview maple farm in December. Bill was so kind to give us tour and let us try all the flavors. I really wanted to buy all the flavors and maple cream but some were out of stock. Kids were so excited about trying the samples. And we were glad to learn how maple syrup was made. This was really the best time during our Vermont Trip. We will definitely visit again to get more maple products.

Thank you Bill and Susan! Thank you for giving the coloring book to kids. I read the story to my son when we got back home. It is a great coloring book about the sugar house!...

As a nature/agriculture lover, I had the absolute time of my life!! I’ve never been to a maple farm before (I never traveled much out of NJ/NYC/PA/DE) so this was a true treat! Thank you Terry & Bill for hosting such a wonderful tour and having the most rich, sweet and new-recipe-inspiring syrups I’ve ever had! (Jalapeño infused maple syrup… trust me..) Bill and Terry were also just simple the most delightful, kind and caring people. They go above and beyond in their tree farm tour, maple syrup tasting, and explanation of their ‘sugar shack’. I’m so glad I decided to visit. A very memorable experience. Ask questions! They have so much cool information and are great teachers. Thank you for having me.
