We were traveling back from Flagstaff after Thanksgiving to central TX. Having read some articles about Christmas tree shortages this year, we figured we’d have a hard time getting a tree after arriving back home. We decided to see if there was a tree farm along our route back.
We found and then called Hamilton Farms to see when they were open and if they had the size tree we wanted. I spoke with Kyla and even though we were going to be arriving in the area 2 hrs before they officially opened for the day, she graciously said they would meet us and open for us to get a tree. When we arrived, Cole greeted us and very kindly helped us. He wrapped our tree carefully knowing we’d be driving it down the highway for hours.
They sell quite a selection of cider, jams, salsa and such and we brought some goodies home with us.

Read moreWe went for the Christmas season! Everyone was so nice. The kids loved it. They have good hot coco and little fire pits around to stay warm and roast marshmellos for smores. The little animals they had were so friendly, the kids loved that the most I think. I got a great tree while we were there. We can't wait to visit in their summer season now and we definitely will be coming back next...
