Oenslager Nature Center — Attraction in Sharon Township

What a great preserve. The trails are fun and easy or anyone, and anytime of year. The learning center has a nice playroom,crafts animals stuffed and live, and a bird watching area. Highly recommend! Red Loop, as seen on Google maps is actually the blue trail. This trail 90% grass. You definitely need boots It is a muddy mess. On top of that there are huge tracks from the ATV or The grass cutter. These also fill up with water and stay muddy. There is a part on the back where the two trails split that it is a wooded area which isn't bad. The orange loop. Nature center is phenomenal. So much information on everything environment related! Amazing bird observation room with great pictures to help learn an identity our feathered friends. The information outside for butterflies an native bees is wonderful along with the native plants to attract the pollinators.
