LionRock Farm — Attraction in Sharon

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at LionRock Farm, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From a photographer’s perspective, this venue offers everything one could hope for. Matthew & the team were a dream to work with!

First and foremost, the aesthetics of the venue are breathtaking. The architecture, landscaping, and decor provide a stunning backdrop for capturing those unforgettable moments. Whether it’s the lush gardens, reception tent, or charming getting ready spaces, there are endless opportunities for beautiful shots.

The natural lighting at LionRock is a dream for any photographer. The sun just hits that ceremony spot like a dream. The golden hour was incredible as well, with a gorgeous sunset right before the reception starts.

Furthermore, the logistics are well thought out. There are ample locations for first looks, wedding party, family, & couple portraits, and the flow of the venue makes it easy to move between different parts of the event. This is essential for a photographer trying to capture all the important moments with a variety of different backdrops.

So many incredible things to say about this venue! First, the grounds are immaculate! The property is so well cared for it’s hard to even find a single weed in the gardens! Next, The on-site accommodations for your wedding party. Each guest house is so incredibly clean, beautifully decorated while offering a variety of spaces and rooms for your guests. On the day of my wedding the staff was totally on their A game. While I had a beautiful ceremony outdoors around 7pm the skies opened up and it was torrentially down pouring. The staff was quick to jump around the tent, put up the sides and ensure everyone was dry from the weather. Their exclusive caterer Hunt & Harvest also knocked it out of the park! Lion Rock Farm was the first and only venue we looked at when we were trying to book a venue. The property is so beautiful, the property management (Hunt and Harvest) is so good at what they do and it was one of the best decisions we could make. The venue is so versatile, there are so many different options to have the ceremony, welcome party, rehearsal dinner, etc. We truly had a perfect August day.
