Sharon Audubon Center — Attraction in Sharon

I’m incredibly grateful to the Sharon Audubon Society for stepping in to help with a group of baby house finches that were blown from their nest during a storm at my job , they were ice cold and almost frozen I couldn’t find the nest after warming them . Their team of volunteers responded quickly and with genuine compassion. The staff /volunteers demonstrated excellent communication and coordination throughout the process, guiding us on what to do and where to go. They have a very detailed intake form .

What stood out most was their strong network and organization—they made sure the birds received prompt, expert care. It’s clear they are deeply committed to bird rescue and rehabilitation. I’m sure the facility is lovely. This review is for their rehabilitation facility, which never responds to calls or emails. I understand and sympathize that time is limited as are resources, but if you hold yourself out as a rehabilitation facility that takes in wildlife please return calls. I’ve contacted them on multiple occasions by phone and email when I’ve found an injured bird only to have my calls/emails...

Great place to visit. The raptor aviary has quite a few impressive birds that call the center home due to injuries that prevent them from returning to the wild.
