Grizzly Falls was one of our stops while visiting Kings Canyon National Park. Grizzly Falls is an 80 ft high waterfall with a loud and thunderous water drop cascading beautifully over the rock into the creek below. It is an easy 0.1-mile out-and-back hike. The waterfall reaches its peak during spring.
There is a picnic area, picnic tables, a vault toilet, and a parking lot at the trailhead. There are only 6-10 parking spots at the pullout area on the road, so it could be full in the summer...

This was our favorite waterfall in all of Sequoia and King's canyon national Parks.
It's only about 100 yards off of the main road.
At high water it is spectacular. And there's a lovely cooling mist that comes off of the waterfall.
Later in the season I'm sure this would be a great place to cool off.
