Glen Collins Memorial Park & Campground — Attraction in Shawnee

The pavilion area was clean. There was even outlets for our crock pots. The surrounding area was nice and clean. There were no little trash cans. Had to walk a bit to a big dumpster. They had new bathrooms that were enclosed but not usable. Had to use the tin building ones. They just didn't seem very hygienic. They weren't totally gross though. Shawnee Twin is my go-to during summer time and occasionally during other seasons for fishing or Pokémon Go. Unfortunately, the reason for my 4 star rating is that the addition is only accessible during summer. Nice park by the lake. They have clean swim areas that are easy to access. They had nice picnic areas around the swimming areas. Good spot to bring the young ones. They didn't have nice restrooms. Just box type with lots of flies. They were also very hot inside. That could be improved. However, they had people with cleaning trucks taking...
