Absolutely stunning property to walk in the early springtime when loads of spring ephemerals like trilliums are in bloom. What a pleasure! I participated in a field class offered by the Native Plant Trust, but I am a Trustees member and will definitely be back to explore this place some more. Highly recommend for the novice or experienced field botanist! So many great plants to observe. And the views of the Housatonic River...

Really beautiful and easy to follow trails plus a lovely view from the top! Would highly recommend visiting Bartholomew’s Cobble. We did the whole loop in ~2 hours, but there are options to shorten the hike. The visitor centre is great too, and the lady working there was very informative and friendly. The only downside was that Ashley House was closed for the season, but otherwise it was a...

Pretty spot for an easy hike. Looks to be a great spot for kids - there’s a tire swing and a large sandbox and the loop trails around the “cobble” are short and have a good amount of variety to keep the little ones entertained. I missed the vista because I didn’t bring a map with me and mistakenly thought it was along one of the trails on the cobble, but it’s not. Lesson learned to be...
