Historic Bardwell's Ferry Bridge — Attraction in Shelburne

My favorite fishing spot that my dad's been taking me to since I was a little kid. It's an absolutely beautiful bridge with great views and if you go down on the Conway side, it is plenty accessible. There are actually fly fishing boat tours that launch at this spot. There are some super deep pools here and some of the nicest trout I've ever caught came right from here.

I have to lol @ the dude who gave the bridge 1 star because he couldn't get his canoe in there. He must be slow because I've seen people carry a 4 person boat decked out with gear there and put in no problem. Anyways, why give the bridge 1 star, that's not a beautiful historic bridges fault. If you enjoy nature, you have to drive to Conway, Massachusetts! The Bardswell's Ferry Bridge with it's loose wooden planks to drive over the Deerfield River! Extraordinary view of the Deerfield River from the bridge! I caught 5 Rainbow Trout yesterday on the Ledge below the Bridge! All around 3 pounds each! What a beautiful area! I found the bridge on a map of the area while looking at roads for a motorcycle ride. The bridge is small- it looks like a pedestrian-only bridge! Others have noticed the loose planking on the road surface over the bridge. Every board rattles as you drive over it. I had my small and light dual-sport motorcycle (think dirt bike) so I was not worried. Not sure if I would feel the same way driving a large pickup truck or...
