I was pleasantly impressed. Lots of people there having a good time lot of families. It was my granddaughter's birthday the park rangers even came and wished her happy birthday. It was very nice to know that they were making sure there was no alcohol in the premises with all those children. Great job guys

This beach is so nice!! Pavilion and several picnic tables by park grills.. They have bathrooms and shower also a play area which is closed off right now. The water is always cool.. It is very crowded on the weekends but during the week is very nice.

Absolutely love the beach, we always come and I cook on the grill and we all swim. The atmosphere is awesome, nice clean beach, grills at just about every picnic table, playground, bathrooms, showers, and plenty of parking spots.

Absolutely beautiful place! Highly recommend getting season passes! Completely worth it if you go as much as we do! Beach is breathtaking, love the boat rides and cook outs. Crazy story, down here with 15 of my best friend boozen, when a lady named Rhonda came up to tell me to stop drinking with her grandchildren near by. I never saw a none drinking area sign. But Rhonda came back with a homemade sign and put in the the grass. Not sure that was legal. So we moved. Oddly we started seeing her homemade signs put in the grass here and there. Maybe look into that. She said she provided the Rangers with cake at her grandchilds birthday party , which makes her now a lawful Ranger herself. I'm not sure that's how becoming a...

Clean sand. Pretty clean water. There is an outdoor rinse off shower and 3 or 4 indoor showers. There's also bathrooms. There's a nice playhround and picnic tables (some have covered roof over them) There's a covered pavillion with grill and 6 or 8 picnic tables. There is a dumpster which is nice if you have alot of trash and packaging from nealy bought beach gear and whatnot. Only real downside is there are no vending machines or any food or drinks on site. It's a 5 minute drive to gas station or 10 minutes to the dollar store or Walmart. Pets are not allowed. Conservation always seem to find out/show up when someone...

The kids had a good time. I could of had one as well if the Shower room cleanliness matches a ran down prison . Also they charge for parking now...and expect you to buy a summer pass to bypass absurd price for this activity. Play ground is unplayable for kids if its hot out due mostly chrome metal for slides and jagged wood chips.. (which is when you swim) Top all that off with a implement parking permit system just so you can swim in lake water with no lifeguards on duty or really any kind of enforcement present other than a state police officer to...
