A extremely nice owner/sales associate named Denise. She helped me find everything that I was looking for and went above and beyond in helping me. It’s very rare these days to find someone who will help you with everything that you need and has all the answers to all your questions. Usually you get someone who doesn’t know and doesn't spend more than a minute to help you. Denise on the other hand showed me everything and even things that I didn’t even know they had. She spent a good 20 to 30 minutes of her time finding and getting the items that I came in for. I appreciated it so much that I went back the next morning before leaving to buy a item that caught my eye when I left the first time, which was the fish in my pictures and she had a bunch of different designs of them. She provided me excellent service, beautiful items that the quality of are like no other, and information about where I can learn more about the items I bought. I highly recommend you go to The Potter’s Shed in Shell Lake, Wisconsin if you are in the area and ask for Denise. Thank you again Denise for all your help.
The second time was a disaster had 20 minutes for before closing and she was focused on clothing and not trying to make a deal that I found outside without her help. I was $.14 away and I told her that I had it in my car and she replies Blach I’ll just hold it for you till tomorrow when I’m planning on leaving before it...
Read moreThis place is very cool, so it is a shame their pottery zone is so disorganized. The gift shop was great and the staff there was friendly and helpful. The cafe was good as well, with fast, friendly service and good prices. The pottery glazing (not making) was fun once we were set up, but the staff was very unfriendly and condescending. It was expensive, too, but the big down fall was when I tried to get my pottery back. I called and called to see whether our pottery was ready since I didn’t want to drive 30 minutes to maybe get my pottery, but no one answered. I came the day they told me it would be ready, only to find all of the workers were at school. I came back the next day to a girl who was helpful, but couldn’t find our pottery (which isn’t her fault). The non-pottery staff weren’t helpful when I asked about how to get my pottery back, which would not have been a problem had I had someone to ask. I brought this situation to light with a few workers there, but not one even said, “Sorry,” or tried to fix it. A lot of time and money wasted. It is a cool place, just please fix your...

Check them out online (which I didn't) to see if they are hosting bands or events this summer. Would be worth it to attend an event here in...
