This has always been my favorite farm and Pumpkin Patch. We actually trekked up from Oregon in October a few years ago to visit family- made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch then too😂
This year I was greatly disappointed. There were hardly any animals out for viewing. As a child I remembered chickens and bunnies out to be viewable. This year it was pigs and goats in a closed off area that had little access. We have also alwayd loved the kids hay maze. My daughter was so disappointed. She kept asking for 'kids games and rides'. She did enjoy the 'OK fence corral'- but in the spirit of Halloween- why?
We were brought out to the furthest Pumpkin Patch field and quickly grabbed each of our desired pumpkins. My family and several others waited for 10+ mins for another carriage that never came. A gentleman in an orange safety jacket came part way down the road from a previous carriage drop- and yelled to everyone to begin walking back. That there wouldnt be another tractor coming out that far. There were several families with babies strapped to their chest, or toddlers that struggled to trek the deep mud. No wagons were offered or available to transport the pumpkins. I felt awful for those families and thankful I had a 5year old in rain gear to walk back. We opted out of the corn maze due to my kid being exhausted and soaked from the experience.
Walking through the farm- we saw oil spills and garbage everywhere.

Read moreThey offer a fun carriage ride that makes loops from the barn to the patch of pumpkins. (The barn also holds pre-picked pumpkins of all sizes and colors) You also have the option to walk over to the patch with a complimentary cart while you are there picking. There is a corn maze, a nursery, and a little store where they sell locally made Icecream in cones or bowls or qt. For souvenirs they have Hunter Farm sweaters and shirts! Sometimes (I’m not sure when) they also have vendors that sell more food! Vendors were not open when we visited but they have more to offer on other days. My partner and I come here every year to pick pumpkins and this year we happened to go during an elementary schools field trip. It was adorable to see the kids with such excitement for picking out their little pumpkins and running around showing others and even us. The energy here is always nice whether it’s busy or nearly empty, we love to enjoy this place, love to see others enjoy it, and love to see the love that has kept this farm running...
Read moreIt was a giant mud puddle, with mud so deep you couldn't even go in the corn maze. Like a foot deep, shoe sucking marsh. Impossible and dangerous with kids. And there were no punch cards or maps for the maze either, couldn't tell what was a "path" and what paths were just made by people trying to escape. No signs or maps so you don't know where anything is around the farm, and the main reason we chose to come here was for the pony rides and farm animals, there is no petting zoo for them just a pen to look at some goats and a llama, there was no pony and no pony rides. Also, no hay maze, just hay for sale. There is junk laying all around too, like broken appliances and random metal stuff. Also they have "pumpkin trebuchets" but they looked totally abandoned and were not in use. So disappointing! A waste of money and time, next time we will go to Maris Farms and will not be back here again. I recommend you...
