I was searching for a scenic drive and an easy place to hike, and this spot delivered perfectly. There were several great trail options, and I completed the entire loop in about 1-2 hours. I saw people of all ages, mostly seniors and some dogs along my hike, and one biker. The signs were well-placed, making it an enjoyable and stress-free hike. There are some great scenic viewpoints and access points to the Charles river. Be aware -- there are only 5 parking spots at the trailhead, so best to get there nice and early. The advantage is this limits the number of groups that can be on the trail at any one time!
